Recipe card insert

Some of the girls that I work with get together and swap recipe layouts. This month we decided to do recipe card dividers for all of the recipes we have. I chose to make a cake one. I was inspired by the "Get Sketchy #12." I used TaDa Creative Studios pattern paper and stamps from the Tea Hee Hee collection.

Another card

I created this card for the current Caardvarks "tall card" challenge. The papers are from the October sugar kit at Scrapdango. The scroll stamp and the Happy Birthday sentiment stamp are made by Pink Persimmon. They are both on the Vintage Greetings set.

A card to share...

I had fun using my QuicKutz Silhouette to make this card. I used TaDa Creative Studios Abode Ala Mode line to cut the shoes. I used a Rubber Romance "fashionesta" stamp to look like the shoe brand. I finished it off with a May Arts ribbon.

Pink Persimmon teams up with Cookin Up Creations

With it being Breast Cancer awareness month, Pink Persimmon Stamps has teamed up with Cookin Up Creations for a fun "Think Pink" contest. You basically do something that has pink as the main design color. You also have to include some stamping of some kind. The winner will get some Pink Persimmon goodies and a GDT spot at Cookin Up Creations. You need to hurry though, the contest ends tonight. I had fun joining in. Here is my card for "Think Pink."

I used the small banner stamps from Pink Persimmon. These are soooo fun to play with!!

Fun page for my Gardening album

I have many different mini albums, and my gardening album is one of my favorites. I just love to see my plants come to life each spring and summer. When I saw this gardening stamp by Rubber Romance, I just knew it would be perfect to use with my Harmonie floral pattern papers. I put these together with my favorite flower, the lily.

Materials: Rubber Romance Hyacinth is in the garden stamp Harmonie pattern papers layout inspired by a sketch at 52 sketches.

Rubber Romance "Hi" card

I love the look of dimension on scrapbook pages and cards. Pleating paper is a fabulous way to add dimension. To add a pleat, simply take a piece of pattern paper and fold it back and forth and adhere to the layout or card. You can be precise with your folding, or you can just wing it as I did for this card. I tore the bottom of my folded pleat. I then used this small pleated paper as well and layered it over the original piece. I just love the versatility of double sided papers!
